Here's a list of who's set to write episodes of the next season of +The X-Files

We already knew about the Morgan brothers and James Wong. Sadly Vince Gilligan and Frank Spotnitz were again not available to contribute to this new season which is a shame. There are some new names, mostly assistants which were promoted to full-on writers such as Gabe Rotter, Benjamin Van Allen and Brad Follmer (who must have been the inspiration for that awful character Cary Elwes used to play).

And of course Chris himself will contribute, though I hope he'll take on board some of the criticism from the season 10 episodes he wrote and make improvements because his weren't the best episodes.

More info as they come in

  1. I hope this will be good , if the show comes back in January 2018 and filming starts soon everything will get rushed. I think they should wait for Gilligan and Spotnitz

  2. +Heather they can't do that, Vince and Frank are both busy and their availability is less important than David and Gillian's. Also with production starting in August that's plenty of time to have the first episodes ready for January. Most series start their regular production in July for a start in late September early October.
